Do I need to make an appointment to visit the showroom?
No appointment is needed – just drop in during our opening hours. We’re open Monday to Friday 9am-5pm and Saturdays 9am-12pm. Our team will be happy to welcome you.

Can I buy stock off the showroom floor?
Yes, in-stock items can be purchased directly from the showroom floor for immediate delivery or pickup.

Can I take samples home to test colours and fabrics?
Absolutely. You’re welcome to borrow fabric, flooring and window covering samples to see how they look in your own space before making a decision.

Do you have Jaycar products in stock?
Yes, we keep a range of Jaycar products in store. If we don’t have what you need on the shelf, we can order it for you – most items arrive within 1–2 weeks.

We accept all major credit cards, EFTPOS and cash. Finance options may also be available – ask our team for details.

Where do you deliver to?
We deliver from Tweed Heads down to Coffs Harbour, and out to Tenterfield and Woodenbong, covering the wider Northern Rivers and surrounds.

Will you remove my old appliance?
Yes, we can remove old appliances when we deliver your new one. A fee applies for this service.

Will Oaten’s notify me prior to my delivery?
Of course! We will inform you once the furniture is received into our warehouse and we will then endeavour to find a suitable day for delivery to your home.

Will the delivery team assemble my furniture?
Yes, our delivery team will assemble your furniture, place it in your chosen room and remove the packaging.

What happens if I’m not home when my furniture is delivered?
If no one is home, we’ll need to reschedule your delivery. Please note a second delivery fee may apply.
RETURNS & CARE

Can I return or exchange an item if I change my mind?
Because most of our products are ordered specifically for you, we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind. Our team can help you choose confidently in the showroom to ensure you’re happy with your selection.

What if my product is faulty or damaged on delivery?
If your item arrives damaged or develops a fault, please contact us straight away. We’ll work with the supplier to repair, replace or resolve the issue in line with Australian Consumer Law.

How long do I have to report an issue with my product?
We recommend you check your purchase as soon as it arrives. Any issues should be reported within 48 hours of delivery to ensure a quick resolution.
